Project #2 of 5

It's time to introduce Project #2: Fetching Fingerles Gloves from Knitty.com. This pattern is a very popular pattern, and rightly so! This was the first project for me that I cabled and knitted on 5 double pointed needles. Quite a challenge but very rewarding. The thumb was a little bit of a challenge but I finally got it correct. The yarn I used is Berroco Ultra Alpaca in a beautiful Lavender Mix color #6283. This yarn is by far one of my favorite yarns. I bought 2 other colors to make some more of these gorgeous gloves!
The pattern called for 5 double pointed needles in size 4.0mm. The 5th needle is used as the cable needle. I used Brittany needles for the first time and instantly fell in love. Made out of birch hardwood, they are extremely smooth yet still stay on the needle.

Both the neck warmer and the mitts are beautiful! It shows how awesome Berrco yarn truly is.
